The Rwandan government is stepping up efforts to integrate artificial intelligence across public institutions through a targeted training initiative for chief digital officers. Ministry of ICT and Innovation Digital leaders from various government agencies came together for a professional AI training session aimed at enhancing practical knowledge and application of artificial intelligence in governance.
The session, moderated by Centri, focused on helping attendees better understand emerging AI technologies, including generative AI, and how they can be applied to real-world government use cases. We also considered different implementation approaches and highlighted the key governance considerations required for responsible AI adoption within the public sector.
