Russia has expanded its activities on social platform TikTok, which features manipulative videos using AI-generated images of children. This was reported by the National Security and Defense Council’s Counterdisinformation Center (CCD). Yeah.
Previously, isolated videos containing generated children appeared on accounts publishing destructive AI content on a variety of topics, but Russia is now expanding this operation.
The center tracked the emergence of specific TikTok accounts that focused solely on generated videos featuring “children.” Almost all the characters in these clips are preschoolers crying because of separation from their fathers during the war or because of their father’s death.

Note that all these profiles are part of a coordinated network of anonymous TikTok accounts.
Through artificially created emotional images, the enemy tries to attack families and children, one of the most sensitive topics for the defenders.
The purpose of this campaign remains the same. The idea is to instill in military personnel a sense of guilt for “separating their families” and damage morale.
