Runway, a video-centric artificial intelligence (AI) startup, announced its new, game-centric service last week. The platform's microsite is currently live, but users will have to wait before playing the game. According to the report, the New York-based AI company will begin with a text- and image-based gaming experience and expand to a full-scale video gaming experience later this year. The company is also said to be in discussion with gaming companies to provide technology for the game development process.
The world of runway games is thrust into AI-generated gaming experiences

The website will be redirected to the login page, but you are currently unable to log in and play the game. According to Verge, the AI startup has provided early access to the platform for selecting journalists. Users reportedly will be able to access it next week.
According to the report, the current version of the game experience lacks many features. This is essentially a chat interface that allows users to play role-playing games (RPGs) with text and images generated by AI. Runway CEO Cristóbal Valenzuela told Verge that AI-generated video games will be added later this year.
In particular, Runway has already made significant advances in the AI video generation space. In April, the company released the Gen 4 Turbo AI model, which can generate 10-second video in 30 seconds. Runway's AI video technology is reportedly being used in Amazon's show House of David.
“If the studio can help make the film 40% faster, it will help game developers make the game faster,” he says. “They are awake and move faster than the studio was moving two years ago,” Valenzuela told the publication.
Apart from this, the runway CEO also tackled rumours that Meta was trying to win a startup. Valenzuela reportedly emphasized that the company is currently independent and will develop new existing experiences for users.
