RU launches month-long “AI Navigator 2026” training

Rajshahi, February 2, 2026 (BSS) – A month-long Artificial Intelligence (AI) training program titled ‘AI Navigator 2026’ was launched at Rajshahi University (RU) on Sunday.
The program is jointly sponsored by the university’s Center for Career Counseling and Development (CCDC) and UK-based non-profit organization Send a Little Hope. The inauguration ceremony was held at the RU Senate Building.
RU Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) Professor Farid Uddin Khan attended the event as the chief guest and Send a Little Hope CEO Mujahidul Islam as the special guest.
CCDC Director Professor Md Nurul Momen presided over the program.
Speaking at the event, Professor Farid Uddin Khan highlighted the increasing importance of AI skills in future leadership and thanked Send a Little Hope-UK for supporting this initiative.
Mr. Mujahidul Islam gave an overview of the “AI Navigator 2026” program.
The occasion was attended by many senior teachers, representatives of Send a Little Hope and students from various faculties of RU.
Prior to this, a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between CCDC and Send a Little Hope to implement the program.
