Detroit-based technology company Lehman Computing has debuted OpenPeer AI, an open-source family of machine learning models designed to make artificial intelligence systems more efficient and interoperable.
The model is currently available in early beta on the Hugging Face platform, allowing developers and researchers to test approaches that reduce computational complexity while maintaining performance. The project comes amid a broader effort in the AI industry to build models that require fewer resources while remaining competitive with large proprietary systems.
