The introduction of MCP Server closes a major gap in agent workflows. AI agents can draft video scripts and suggest concepts, but subsequent production tasks, such as rendering, audio integration, captioning, and publishing, traditionally require manual intervention. Revid.ai provides these processes as callable tools to streamline creators’ workflows.

The MCP server provides access to tools with stable names, including functions such as render_video, get_project_status, export_video, clone_voice, schedule_publish, and publish_now. Agents can initiate the video rendering process, monitor its progress, and efficiently export or publish the final product.

At launch, nine production workflows will be available to address a variety of needs, including script-to-video, prompt-to-video, and audio-to-video. The platform supports a variety of source materials such as prompts, scripts, links, and audio files.

“Most video models stop at a clip, and honestly, this is the least useful part of the job,” he said. Thibault Louis-Lucas (Tibault Maker) , CEO and co-investor of Revid.ai. “Clips still need attention-grabbing scripts, audio, captions, the right aspect ratio, and someone to actually post them. That last mile is where the time is spent. If an agent can’t close a clip, you’re not really automating anything; you’re just handing a human a slightly shorter to-do list.”

The platform is designed to produce complete short films rather than individual clips. Recent works on Revid.ai range from 28 seconds to over two minutes, with all elements generated in a single pass. Users receive an editable project that they can modify scripts, replace visuals, and adjust the pace after generation, retaining full commercial rights without watermarks.

MCP Server is now available to support OAuth 2.1 and locally configured API key authentication for hosted agent clients. Command-line tools are publicly available and easy to install. References Automate video creation with Revid.ai.
