This role is part of the AI SG project and requires collaboration with industry collaboration partner ConveGenius.
As an AI/ML Engineer, I am responsible for building conversational AI and recommendation components in new and existing products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate in and manage research projects with principal investigators (PIs), industry collaborators, and members of the research team to ensure that all project deliverables are met.
- The project is responsible for:
- Data collection and preprocessing.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models.
- Design and refine NLP processing units such as dialog management, natural language understanding, and more.
- Development of a conversational chatbot.
Job requirements:
- Strong background in AI and machine learning, including classification, feature engineering, information extraction, structured prediction, clustering, and semi-supervised learning.
- Extensive background in applied statistics, design of experiments, sampling methods, A/B testing procedures, causal analysis, and cohort analysis.
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying ML models.
- Must have demonstrated and demonstrated competence in the field of natural language processing.
- Familiarity with conversational assistants, especially conversational data, is a big advantage.
- Good knowledge of NLP frameworks such as RASA.
- AWS cloud experience.
- Knowledge of Java/Node/Python programming language.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
