Darren Grimes, the assistant leader of reform UK at the Durham Council, has been the subject of official complaints after speaking as the representative of “Your Reform County Council” in a video using fake AI footage from Keir Starmer at the helm of an exile ship.
In the video on August 8th, the former GB News The presenter, recently appointed to the party's national organising committee, appears to prevent aggressive criminal trials and attacks people who may complain about his anti-immigration videos.
He speaks to the video “Durham residents as one of the reform county councillors.” He suggests he speaks in professional capacity as a deputy leader at a reform hub that has been controlled by the party since May.
The video features AI-creation video from Starme, who leads asylum seekers' boats without showing that it was made with video manipulation software.
In the video, Grimes talks about the safety of “when our women and girls walked through our city.” Using videos of white women in swimsuits from the 1950s, it appears that foreign asylum seekers are threatening the safety of women, in contrast to the UK.

In the August 8 video, Grimes also talks about “Sudan deviants,” the “sheep with dementia” that promotes diversity, and about an active court of asylum seekers for alleged sexual offences representing “child violations” by immigrants (though no ruling has been given). He also laughs at those who complain about his video.
Grimes said: “If you're looking at this or you're thinking, 'Oh, I want to complain about riding his high horse,' then I'm saying this by saying this. I will be carried in front of committees of all kinds.
He references cases of asylum seekers and refugees being accused of sexual assault. It ignores recent incidents like the recent incident that she was found guilty of preying on a minor girl in April this year, or the former conservative sex offender who recently took part in reform.

The complaint adds: “It contradicts the council's social media guidance, highlighting Nolan's principles (openness, accountability, leadership) and warning that the code applies to accounts linked to councillors. The most common issue is disrespectful and makes the council dishonored.
“And don’t forget that he is the assistant leader.
The Council has refused to allow at least one complaint on the issue so far. Because they are said to remain anonymous unless they are in “exceptional” circumstances.
The petitioner says By-line time: “For me, this is becoming as big a problem as the original complaint. Essentially, anonymous whistleblowing is not permitted.
Grimes was the subject of a police visit this week after posting a video to his brother's X account on a boat trip in Scarborough. This video includes many non-white people, including children.
As reported here, in the caption, Grime states:
Grimes was accused by Northeast Mayor Kim McGuinness, who was “just incite racism and hatred.” He received a police visit, but local troops said no further action was taken.
Grimes was contacted for comment.
