reddit Shares rose 6% after social media companies debuted their new artificial intelligence-powered advertising tools.
Two new features announced Monday in a post during the Cannes Lions Festival will help brands better take advantage of discussions on the platform. The company says the tool is powered by an engine called Reddit Community Intelligence, which “turns posts and comments into structured intelligence.”
Reddit has announced a “listening tool” called Reddit Insights. It helps you share real-time insights with marketers, identify trends, and launch campaigns. Other tools called conversation summary add-ons allow brands to view “positive” user content under their ads.
“These are tools for a new era of community marketing that allow brands to leverage the reliability of Reddit and connect meaningfully with sophisticated communities around the world,” the company writes.
