Publicis Sapient is powering Bodhi, a machine learning platform that harnesses the power of generative AI (GenAI) to enhance marketing strategies and improve operational efficiencies. Bodhi is customized for industries such as financial services, retail, and supply chain management.
The US-based digital business transformation company has been leveraging Bodhi to drive innovation and growth, particularly in its India offices. The platform serves as the core AI infrastructure for parent company Publicis Groupe, driving operational efficiencies and spurring innovation in areas such as marketing.
Bodhi brings together multiple capabilities into a single platform, including Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) to streamline the deployment and management of machine learning models. One example of Bodhi's capabilities is its content conceptualization suite, designed to accelerate the move from marketing brief to full campaign, dramatically reducing turnaround time and enhancing creativity through AI-driven insights.
Sudhan Rangarajan, head of AI and data at Publicis Sapient, told FE: “We are developing AI-based products with GenAI. We have been developing Bodhi over the last four years and it has now been deployed across many clients globally. Bodhi acts as the core AI platform for the parent company.”

Publicis Sapient's GCC in India
“We will start with regular captives, then GICs and GCCs. I think these are moving from being purely cost-driven businesses to being more value-driven businesses. I was looking at my OPE budget and thinking how can I make it 10%, 20% cheaper or get more business for the same budget. So I looked at India as a place where pure cost arbitrage would take place,” he said.
As well as leveraging its in-house capabilities, Publicis Sapient also partners with startups.
