Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a new video on Monday showing him interacting with civilians, with the caption: “Follow the guidelines and we will win together.”

This came after Netanyahu posted another video on social media showing him drinking coffee and discussing rumors surrounding his death. However, the video released on Sunday drew criticism from netizens who flagged that the footage was artificially generated.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was shown on video ordering coffee at Jerusalem’s Sataf Cafe and mocking widespread rumors about his death. In the video, Netanyahu can be seen telling a cafe worker, “That’s great, thank you,” and asking the videographer, “What did you hear?”

When told that there were reports that Israel’s prime minister had died, Netanyahu scoffed: “I’m dying for coffee. I’m dying for my people. What are they doing? Great. Do you want to count on your fingers?”

The video was released as social media discussion about Prime Minister Netanyahu’s death was amplified by Iran’s new state agency. IRNA The Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has vowed to kill Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “if he is still alive,” he posted on X. Tehran’s Tasnim news agency claimed to have “put pressure on Prime Minister Netanyahu to dispel rumors of death or injury.”
