Digital asset platform Artlist has added a new artificial intelligence-powered voice-over tool for creators, representing a new player in the latest wave of video editing.
As AI technology improves and becomes more accessible to users, more and more photo and video editing platforms seem eager to embrace these tools, and Artlist is no exception.
While Artlist is best known for its digital assets, including stock footage, templates, music, plugins, and special effects, the addition of its AI-powered voice-over tools adds a new tool to the video editor's toolbox. It makes sense that editors looking for video clips and music to use in their projects will also want to include customizable voice-over audio.
“We're excited to introduce the AI narration generator to our platform,” Artlist co-founder and co-CEO Itzik Elbaz said in a press release. “This new feature enhances brands and creators' abilities to craft immersive stories and bring their vision to life with unparalleled clarity and emotion. Whether you're a high-end production company, in-house creative team, or budding content creator, Artlist gives you the tools you need to succeed in today's competitive creator economy, all in one place.”
The company is touting the new asset as a “unique, high-quality audio catalogue curated by top artists” and highlights how it will increase efficiencies for creators.
“We developed our catalog of exclusive audio with the goal of democratizing access to high-quality voiceovers and empowering brands and creators to enhance their videos with professional-grade narration,” adds Roee Peled, Artlist's chief product officer. “By leveraging advanced AI and text-to-speech technology, we're making it easier and more cost-effective for brands and creators to produce compelling voiceovers at scale.”
The new voiceover feature will be rolling out to Artlist users in the coming days, and those interested can find out more on the company's website. The feature is also included in the Artlist Max plan, which costs $40 per month for individual users when billed annually. This plan also includes music, sound effects, footage up to 8K quality, video templates, plugins, and image and video editing apps. There will also be a standalone plan, but as of this writing it has not yet appeared on the website.
