Research shows that many small businesses are using AI tools to grow amid financial pressures due to inflation.

A recent study by the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Council (SBEC) shows that 75% of companies surveyed (507 out of 676) use artificial intelligence tools as part of their operations. The most common are AI tools for financial management, cybersecurity, and AI-powered email marketing.

The same SBEC survey shows that many small businesses want the federal government to create guidelines for the use of AI.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is also monitoring the situation.
