New Delhi: A police complaint has been filed in Delhi against the Congress party over an AI-generated video featuring Prime Minister Modi's late mother. The complaint was filed on Friday by BJP worker Sanket Gupta of North Avenue Police Station. According to a senior police officer in Delhi, the issue is under review and no FIR has been filed so far. Gupta alleged in his complaints that the video distributed via the official X-handle of the Bihar Conference Forces has damaged the reputation of both the Prime Minister and his late mother. He said it amounts to a violation of law, moral values and women's dignity. Gupta has requested that the Congress and its office bearers register an FIR under the provisions of Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) and has asked Platform X to remove the content. The clip in question was posted on September 10th, showing that “PM is seen dreaming of his late mother criticizing him for his politics in Bihar, tied up by polls.” However, Congress refused to file accusations of disrespect. “What are their objections? Where is this because mothers are trying to educate their sons to do something right? This is not rude to the mothers we all respect,” said Pawan Keira, who heads the party's media and propaganda division.
