Another major technology company is expanding into the Magic City.
Palantir, a leading innovator in AI, announced in a short post on X Tuesday that it has moved its headquarters from Denver, Colorado to Miami, Florida.
According to Palantir’s most recent SEC filings, the principal executive officer’s office is currently located at 19505 Biscayne Boulevard, Suite 2350, in Aventura, Florida, an affluent neighborhood just 32 miles north of downtown Miami.
This is the AI company’s second major move in six years, after Palantir left Palo Alto for Denver in 2020. CEO Alex Karp has previously spoken of a conflict between Silicon Valley’s “values” and the company’s mission.

Palantir did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

The brand is now part of a major capital move to Florida, following Peter Thiel and Jeff Bezos’ personal moves to Miami and Ken Griffin’s move to the Citadel. Recently, Google’s Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg and other billionaires have fled California for Florida over the proposed wealth tax.
Palantir’s current value is more than $300 billion, making it the largest publicly traded company headquartered in South Florida, surpassing NextEra Energy. The company reported net income of $1.6 billion on sales of $4.5 billion in 2025, more than double the number from the previous year. Revenue projections for 2026 are approximately $7.2 billion.
As of late 2025, the company had an estimated 4,429 full-time employees worldwide, including approximately 600 in its Denver office. Palantir also has not disclosed how many employees may move to Florida.
Colorado Gov. Jared Polis said at a news conference Tuesday that he had not received advance notice of Palantir’s move and learned of it through social media.
The Florida Council of 100 and local leaders have hailed the move as a “watershed moment” in proving Florida is a center for national security and AI innovation.
“Palantir’s decision to move its headquarters to Florida’s Gold Coast is a powerful testament to where growth is happening in America,” Michael Seamus, president and CEO of the Florida Council of 100, said in a statement published in X.

“Florida is building the platform for the next generation of high-wage industries, and through Ambition Accelerated, we are aligning leadership and capital to accelerate that future,” Seamus continued.
Earlier this month, the council announced its Ambition Accelerated initiative with support from Citadel founder Ken Griffin and associated company founder Stephen Ross. It will feature advertising and branding aimed at encouraging decision makers to build or relocate to South Florida, from West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale to Miami.

Although Florida is widely known for its lack of a state income tax, the council also notes that Florida has the second-lowest per capita business regulations in the United States and consistently ranks among or among the nation’s highest rates of GDP growth, new business formation, talent attraction, and higher education.
