Escondido, California, July 10, 2025 (Globe Newswire) – One Stop Systems, Inc. (OSS or The Company) OSa robust enterprise-class leader in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and sensor processing, today announced a new $2 million production contract from the groundbreaking medical imaging OEMs moving forward with non-invasive breast cancer screening. OSS expects a total program value of at least $25 million over the next five years.
Under the terms of the agreement, OSS will offer 65 next-generation liquefied 3U-SDs, which are standard on all OEM breast scan devices. OSS expects to recognize revenue from this agreement for the next six to 12 months. This order represents the transition from successful pilot to volume production following the first $500,000 development phase order in March 2025.
“We are excited to deepen our relationships with the customers of this major medical OEM and support our expanding production,” said Mike Knowles, president and CEO of OSS. “Advanced imaging systems rely on machine learning algorithms that run in real time. They meet stringent requirements such as rugged reliability, GPU performance, small form factors, and minimal noise, highlighting the discrepancies of enterprise-class and edge computing platforms.”
“This engagement illustrates how OSS's high-performance PCIE/switch fabric fabric rugged computing solutions can expand into rapidly growing commercial markets like Healthcare.
At the heart of this platform is OSS's 3U-SDS system, Edge's most flexible and rugged solution for AI. The 3U-SDS is designed to deploy things that move from self-driving vehicles and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to naval platforms and mobile medical devices, providing data center-class computing performance in a compact, robust form factor.
This is possible through OSS design capabilities, best-in-class PCIE technology, and a proprietary liquid cooling solution. This reduces system noise to up to 20 dB compared to traditional air-cooled servers, making it ideal for acoustically sensitive environments such as patient care settings. 3U-SDS directly supports chip and immersion cooling technology, historically limited to data centers and gaming systems operating in climate-controlled spaces. OSS brings these innovations to the robust edge, allowing AI workloads to be run quietly and effectively in frontline healthcare environments.
Today's announcement highlights OSS's strategy to expand into the commercial edge AI market by applying the same disciplined, platform-based approach that has driven success in the defence market. Like other platforms, this medical imaging system begins with development engagement and is currently moving towards multi-year production, maintenance and support relationships. The company continues to target large, grown verticals where robust, enterprise-class computing is essential.
