The Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (IIT-H) has partnered with the Indian Naval Weapons Electronic Systems Engineering Institute (WESEE) for strategic cooperation.

As a result, the Joint Development Technology Innovation Center (CTIC) opened Sandeep on Friday in the presence of IIT-H Director BS Marty and Director (Sponsored Research and Consultant) Chandrashekar Sharma.・Launched at IIT-H by Lieutenant General Naitani. A WESEE officer and his IIT faculty.

Operated by WESEE, the center aims to collaborate with IIT-H on innovative and pioneering projects related to modern and emerging technologies in the maritime sector. Joint projects in wireless networks, 5G/6G, IoT, AI/ML and other related fields have been identified as the first step in technological progress. Sharma spoke about the academic and research excellence of IIT-H.

“Over the past five years, we have fostered over 125 startups, generating over 1,000 jobs and Rs.80 crore in revenue. We want to create an ecosystem that can create and we want to take India to the next level and produce talented people who can become world leaders,” said Marty.

Appreciating IIT-H’s commitment to excellence, Naitani said: We strongly encourage young and energetic personnel at IIT-H to utilize our state-of-the-art facilities to understand areas for improvement and propose better solutions. Our executives are taking graduate courses at IIT-H. We would like to see if we can use this collaboration to improve existing facilities. We are confident that it is the right course of action and will bring us success. “
