NAU’s FEWSION project is an open-ranked, non-tenured researcher at Northern University’s School of Informatics, Computing, and Cyber Systems (SICCS) to lead a multi-million dollar research effort on North American supply chains and critical infrastructure. We are looking for a track research professor. University of Arizona. especially. This innovative work includes theories and methods of data science, supply chain analysis, modeling, and systems engineering, as well as the use of open source data fusion techniques for mapping and modeling systems. Faculty members collaborate with several large, interdisciplinary research teams investigating this issue. Desirable qualifications include a PhD in computer science, civil engineering, economics, data science, statistics or a related field and strong quantitative data analysis, programming, visualization, scientific writing and communication skills. will be This position interacts with controlled, non-confidential information.

This is a Faculty (FAC) position. NAU offers an excellent benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance. Participation in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) or Optional Retirement Program (ORP). Incidence of sick leave and 10 vacations per year. Faculty members are employed on a contractual basis and are renewable in accordance with the terms of the Faculty Service Terms. The employee offered the position is covered by state health insurance (including her BCBS plan at NAU). An employee must be enrolled in her benefits for 31 days from the date of hire, and the benefits will take effect on the first day of the payroll period after enrollment is completed. If a new employee chooses her Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) retirement option, participation in the ASRS plan (and accompanying long-term disability coverage) begins with the first pay period following 183 days of employment. New employees who choose to participate in the Voluntary Retirement Plan (ORP; an alternative to the ASRS plan) will begin participating on the first day of their paid period after selection.
