It was just a few years ago that OpenAI made ChatGPT publicly available, forever changing the way we interact with the internet. Since then, companies like Google, Microsoft, Meta, and Amazon have been among the first to jump into the artificial intelligence pool, racing to carve out their own lanes to regain lost ground.
As we see more and more AI tools appearing in the apps and services we use every day, they are almost always successful. Of course, we are only at the beginning of this new era, but things are already very impressive, with OpenAI delivering some amazing AI-generated videos thanks to Sora.

That being said, with the introduction of Sora 2 things have improved even further, giving you even more detail in the videos and clips you can create using sound. The app was only available to iOS users, but it is now available for download on Android as well.
Fortunately, it didn’t take long. If you’re interested, you can get Sora from the Play Store and start experimenting. Easily generate a video by typing in a text prompt and watch what comes out twice.
If you haven’t yet seen what Sora 2 can do, we highly recommend checking out the demo video the company has released. Creating is a big part of the experience, but you can also remix and add to ideas you already have. The biggest change from the previous model is that videos now have audio.
This adds a new layer that contributes to the realism of what you can generate using Sora. For the most part, much of what is created looks and sounds very authentic. And at first glance, you can’t tell whether these videos are created using prompts or images. Of course, if you dig deeper you’ll find that some things aren’t quite right, but it’s still pretty good.
Again, this is just an update early in the process. And even if the situation is already this good today, one can only imagine what it will be like in a few years. You can download the app for iOS and Android, the latter directly from the Google Play Store.
