Visakhapatnam: The two-day Fusion AI Summit 2025, hosted by the Deeptech Naipunya Foundation, began on Friday at Visakhapatnam. The event brought together policymakers, global technology leaders and industry pioneers to accelerate the transformation of India's AI from vision to implementation. According to organizers, this is the first exclusive AI summit at Vizag, hosting over 1,000 participants.The event was launched by Minister of State Kondapalli Srinivas, who spoke about the AP's commitment to becoming an AI-first economy. “Many use cases show how collaboration with humans shapes a futuristic Andhra Pradesh and improves both productivity and quality of life,” Srinivas said.Vishal Dhupar, managing director of South Asia at Nvidia, gave a keynote address on “realizing the possibilities of AI in India,” highlighting Nvidia's investment in Andhra Pradesh's AI ecosystem. “From the vision of AI to the implementation, India and Vizag should focus on three key principles: 1-2-3 rules of AI adoption, lessons from the historical evolution of AI, and the establishment of AI factories.Other high-ranking officials include Rabbi Vemuru (APNRT Association), Dr Suresh Batha (additional director of STPI), and Sreedhar Kosaraju (APDTI Network Chairman). “Hyperpersonalization through AI is not just a global trend. It is an opportunity to boost Andhra Pradesh's workforce and industry. Change should not be feared, it is accepted as a catalyst for social progress,” says Ravi Vemuru. “As hundreds of startups have been incubated and 75% more efficiency in public services, Andhra Pradesh is filling the innovation gap between government and entrepreneurs through targeted initiatives like Kalpatarkoh.”Sreedhar Kosaraju said the state's vibrant talent pool and thriving innovation ecosystem will become the perfect launch pad for India's AI revolution. The summit is for visionaries to unite and transform Vizag into an East Coast hub of AI-driven transformation. More than 1,100 representatives participated in the summit, including CXOs, business leaders, startups, research scholars and students.
