Nvidia CEO and co-founder Jensen Huang praises President Donald Trump's AI agenda and outlines how the country's future will look in a special report.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said in an interview Wednesday that the Trump administration's AI plan is poised to boost innovation and AI deployment in the United States.
Huang was interviewed in Fox News' Special Report, telling host Bret Baier that he was “a time of transformation, a point of inflection in technology.”
“We're reinventing computing for the first time in 60 years,” Han said after President Donald Trump announced the White House AI Action Plan. “This is a very big deal.”
“What the president is making today is to accelerate American AI innovation,” Huang said. “All the infrastructure and the energy he is trying to endure will accelerate the deployment of AI in America.”

“He's going to make it effective [the] The American technology stack multiplies around the world at incredible speeds. I think these three initiatives will fundamentally change the US position in the coming years,” Huang said.
Baier asked Huang about a report related to his efforts to ensure that Nvidia's H20 chips, designed to be AI chips not sold in the Chinese market, are designed to be sold in China, while adhering to Nvidia's H20 chips (US export controls covering stronger chips).
The Biden administration has allowed the company to export its H20 chips to China, and the Trump administration temporarily tightened export restrictions, but Nvidia said they were lifted earlier this month.

“My job is to provide information and follow, and I did my best to let you know. The important thing to achieve is that America wins when American technology becomes a global standard,” says Huang.
“The reason it was so important to bring the H20 back to the Chinese market is because 50% of the world's AI researchers are in China and tens of thousands of AI startups in China,” he said. “We want to ensure every opportunity to compete in that market and win those developers. When that happens… when half of the world's researchers develop on the American technology stack, as technology spreads around the world and multiplies all over the world, we become the global norm.”
“We want to build the world to this standard just as the world was built on the US dollar,” Huang added.

Baier asked Huang about the risk of intellectual property theft in China and the possibility that H20 chips will be copied by Chinese companies in the near future.
“I have all the confidence in American innovation. Don't forget that the computer industry is a national asset and a national treasure. I don't remember that the industry I know has dominated the world of technology, innovation and leadership than the US computer industry.
Huang highlighted the importance of energy development to the emergence of AI and other new industries.

“Without energy, we are not a global leader in AI,” Huang said. “It was very incredible. The first day of President Trump's administration made it very clear that he is a pro-energy and energy growth. Without energy growth, how do we have new industries and new opportunities for growth?”
