The 6th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Machine Learning, organized by the Faculty of Engineering, University of Nagaland, Kohima Campus, Melima, started on February 24th and was held till February 25th. Er Bendanchila Longkumer, assistant professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, chaired the first program.
The chief guest, Professor Jagadish K. Patnaik, Vice-Chancellor of Nagaland University, delivered a recorded video. He congratulated the organizers for hosting the conference and encouraged them to organize more such events in the future.
Program Chair Professor Sujata Dash delivered the welcome address and highlighted important details of the conference. Professor N Venuh, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Nagaland University Kohima Campus, Melima, gave a speech thanking the School of Engineering and Technology for hosting the international conference. Dr. A Elayaperumal, Director, NIT Nagaland, spoke on the importance of ethics in AI and responsible use of artificial intelligence.
Dr. Soumya Prakash Otta, Legal Director, STPI Guwahati; Er Sabou Yashu, IT Department, Government of Nagaland Dr. Soumya Chakraborty, Director, NIMSR, also spoke during the event.

General Co-Chairman Prof. Sachinandan Mohanty spoke about the 6th edition of ICISML, jointly organized by the Faculty of Engineering, University of Nagaland and the core team of ICISML. He said more than 1,000 papers were accepted, of which 249 papers were accepted and will be published in the JOVE and PES journals indexed by SCI and Scopus, and the AIP journal indexed by Scopus.
The program ended with a vote of thanks by Er. Ayangra Jameel, assistant professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
