This suite of new advertising innovations is designed to help brands become more relevant, efficient, and impactful, making it easier to reach more than 100 million high-intent neighborhood users across 345,000 neighborhoods. Advertisers can now deliver smarter, more engaging creatives across the Nextdoor platform. Nextdoor Advertising Manager’s new advertising solutions include: AI-powered Click Optimization/Conversion Optimization: Advertisers will now be able to take advantage of smarter ads using AI and machine learning innovations within Click and Conversion Optimization, introducing cutting-edge features designed to optimize performance across the marketing funnel.
Click optimization (US only): Increase campaign engagement by automatically optimizing for higher click-through rates. In an 11-month test from 2024 to 2025, advertisers have already seen an average CTR increase of 134% when compared to CPM bidding. Conversion optimization (US only): Drive better results by optimizing your campaigns for conversions.
In initial testing over the same period, conversion optimization advertisers saw a median CPA increase of 35%. AI Targeting and Delivery Recommendations (trialing in all US/Canada/UK markets): Delivered during setup and post-delivery, this feature leverages personalized business and industry insights to improve setup and campaign performance. Powered by over 3 million photos (all commercially licensed) from ChatGPT and Pexels’ global community of photographers, AI-powered image and copy generation (tested in all US/Canada/UK markets) helps advertisers create high-quality ads faster and easier by instantly generating relevant copy and engaging creative assets.

We’re currently piloting the following personalized ad formats: Enhanced local personalization for image ads (US only): In addition to using dynamic city and neighborhood names in ad copy, brands can now choose to automatically include neighborhood and city names directly in their images, Spotlight ad creatives, and Nextdoor in-feed ads, driving local relevance at the neighborhood level across the country. Geographic personalization allows advertisers to connect with their neighbors in a highly local and context-relevant way, and advertisers are already seeing that geographic personalization drives increased engagement with their ad copy.
Weather Targeting (US only): Reach more relevant neighborhoods Contextual weather targeting allows advertisers to deliver the right message at the most relevant time, allowing brands to align their campaigns to real-time local conditions. Selecting three new options for temperature-based targeting (Cold: 40-50 degrees / Moderate: 50-80 degrees / Hot: 80-100 degrees) will target your ads (for example, promoting hot drinks during cold months) to local neighborhoods that fall within these temperature ranges.
