  • Online platform Fanvue is sponsoring a “Miss AI” contest for AI influencers.
  • Fanvue is the only platform that allows AI-generated content from creators.
  • The top three winners of the Fanvue World AI Creator Awards will receive a total prize of $20,000.

Fanvue is hosting its first-ever “Miss AI” contest, in which the finalists will not be humans, but artificial intelligence personas from around the world.

The platform is used by creators to share monetized content with their followers, but unlike similar sites (such as OnlyFans), Fanvue allows the posting of AI-generated content, as long as the content complies with community guidelines and is clearly labeled as synthetic.

The company announced that it will host the Fanvue World AI Creator Awards in April and is now announcing the top 10 finalists for the Miss AI title.

“The launch of the Fanvue World AI Creator Awards and this inaugural awards brings the AI creator field into the mainstream for the first time and the number of submissions was staggering,” Fanvue co-founder Will Monange said in a press release.

The contest will be attended by 1,500 creators, and the winner will receive a total prize of $13,000, including a $5,000 cash prize and PR support.

The judging panel is made up of a competition historian, a media entrepreneur, and two AI creators. Contestants will be judged on realism, technology, and social impact.

The role of AI in social media remains a hot topic of debate, with deepfake porn, AI chatbots with celebrity faces, and virtual assistants with familiar voices fuelling calls for stricter regulation of how generative AI is used.

The Fanvue World AI Creator Awards offers a glimpse into a world where AI-generated personas are taken seriously, even if all the finalists meet fairly typical beauty standards.

We will introduce the top 10 finalists and messages from each creator. The top 3 will be announced at the end of June.
