Iranian state media has released another AI-generated video depicting what it claims is a “new wave of missile attacks” amid heightened tensions in the ongoing US-Iran-Israel war in the Middle East.
The published clip is mail news agencypresented a stylized sequence that begins with a staged military command meeting led by Supreme Commander Mojtaba Khamenei, followed by mock missile launches, explosions in the city, and footage of Iranian forces advancing toward the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem’s Old City.
The video appears to be aimed at projecting Iran’s military preparedness and influencing public perception as hostilities continue in the region.
This release is part of a broader pattern. Just last week, Iranian state media circulated another AI-generated video titled “One Vengeance For All.” The video combined footage of U.S.-related conflicts with a climactic scene in which a missile crashes into the distorted Statue of Liberty.
The 53-54 second montage is National broadcaster IRIB And, amplified by pro-Tehran news outlets, it charted a timeline of American military involvement in Hiroshima, Vietnam, Yemen, Afghanistan, Iraq, Gaza, and Palestine, placing Washington at the center of the global conflict.
Tensions continue to rise on the ground. Iran’s Joint Forces spokesman said on Sunday that the private residences of U.S. and Israeli officials in the Middle East are now considered legitimate targets, and the conflict has expanded in scope in its first month.
The warning was aimed at both U.S. and Israeli military and political personnel based in the region.
The conflict, which began when the United States and Israel attacked Iran, has since spiraled, with Tehran retaliating by targeting Israel and all Gulf Arab states. The war has already claimed more than 3,000 lives.
Radioactive fallout is also spreading beyond the battlefield. Global supplies of oil, natural gas and fertilizers have been affected and air travel disruptions continue. Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz has spooked global markets, and the possible involvement of Iranian-backed Houthi forces has raised concerns about ships passing through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, a key route to the Red Sea.
Meanwhile, Iran warned of further escalation after Israel bombed universities it said were involved in nuclear research and development.
US President Donald Trump has said he prefers to “take the oil” from Iran, and even the idea of seizing Kharg Island, a key export hub for the country, has been floated as the US sends additional troops to the Middle East.
According to reports, the US has already directed the deployment of 10,000 troops trained for land-seizure and hold missions. About 3,500 personnel, including about 2,200 Marines, arrived in the region on Friday, and another 2,200 Marines are scheduled to depart. Thousands more troops from the 82nd Airborne Division have been ordered to move as Washington prepares for a possible expansion.
