Microsoft is pushing Copilot AI technology to more users as it releases features for both gamers and creatives these days. According to Xbox Wire, Gaming Copilot is now available in beta for Xbox Insiders on Windows PCs. This feature has also been deployed in handhelds, but its functionality is limited.
Co-pilot for the game
If you want to try out that feature, you must be an Xbox insider registered in the PC Game Preview. You must also be at least 18 years old and located in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and several other regions. Those who are already registered can try it by pressing Windows + G to open the game bar, then clicking the Gamecopilot icon in the Home Bar to open the widget.
Copilot 3D from Copilot Labs
Creative also gets the new Copilot 3D functionality from Copilot Labs. This allows you to easily convert flat 2D images to 3D models, so you don't have to spend hours creating custom 3D files. More importantly, it's free and available to anyone with a Microsoft account all over the world.

Copilot 3D is more than just a novel tool. You can use this to build models for 3D printing, game design, art projects, and more. It uses the popular GLB format to improve compatibility and save your creation for 28 days, so you can go back to your recent work and use it later.
These tools show how Microsoft can help AI tools both work and play. However, at the time of writing it is unclear whether these features will only work on NPU-equipped devices or rely on the internet to run a PC (or Mac).
