Inflection AI, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based “AI Studio” that specializes in creating personal AI, closed Thursday, June 29, in a new funding round of $1.3 billion (approx. 1.1 billion euros) has been announced. Hoffman, Bill Gates, Eric Schmidt and new investor NVIDIA.
The new funding brings the company’s total funding to $1.525 billion (approximately €1.39 billion).
The funding will support Inflection’s continued efforts to build and design its first product, Pi (Personal Intelligence).
The announcement comes more than a year after raising $225 million (around €207 million) in early 2022. Greylock, Microsoft, Reid Hoffman, Bill Gates, Eric Schmidt, Mike Schroepfer, Demis Hassabis, Will.i.am, Horizons Ventures and Dragoneer participated. in that round.

Pi is designed to be a friendly, supportive companion that provides text and voice conversations, friendly advice, and concise information in a natural, fluid style.

Inflection AI is working with partners CoreWeave and NVIDIA to build the world’s largest AI cluster of 22,000 NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs.
