Let’s take a look at some of today’s trending tickers. We’re looking at, uh, Brooks Brooke De Palma is with me right now. So let’s talk about what we’re seeing. Let’s start with Marvel or Marvel. Marvell stock is expected to rise nearly 4% as Google is reportedly in talks with the company to develop two new versions of its AI chip. Alphabet stock Brook has remained largely unchanged so far. As you know, we have a lot of these partnerships going on, with different hyperscalers trying to get custom chips. So while Marvel is certainly being talked about, the most likely name is Broadcom. So this looks like a very good move for Marvel stock.

Absolutely, definitely feel safe here. As you pointed out, I’m aware that Meta recently partnered with Broadcom. Marvel is attracting more and more attention, but the public still has a bullish view of Marvel. The Street has about 43 buy ratings, 7 hold ratings, and no sell ratings. And clearly investors are pretty happy with this announcement today, with the stock up about 4%. And we talked about it earlier today, Nvidia, the stock that’s down on this report, was down about 1% the last time I looked. This is primarily because Google is a customer of Nvidia. And now, if they are sourcing these chips themselves, it remains to be seen how exactly that will affect that relationship as well. So all these different puts and takes definitely come into play here.

Yeah, I mean, you know, it’s not. It feels like hyperscale is trying to grab as much of this chip capacity as possible. So they’re definitely outsourcing a lot of these contracts to different chip manufacturers and chip designers. Well, another trending stock is space. People are so interested in space right now, Brooke, it’s so fascinating. Also on today’s list is AST Space Mobile, whose stock price is down more than 8%. Well, it looks like the Blue Origin New Glenn rocket either didn’t deploy the satellite or didn’t deploy the satellite made by AST Space Mobile correctly. So that seems to be hurting the stock price.

Well, Julie, I feel like you and I have talked about this momentum behind space trade many times to this day. So keep in mind, even with some pullback, this stock is up nearly 8% year-to-date as this excitement around the space economy has definitely rubbed off on investors. I was reading a little more about what exactly happened here. Essentially, this was to be used to further evolve satellite internet services for smartphones. So this is like another backend to space trade. It is known that AST Space Mobile requires launching approximately 45 satellites into space. This was just one of those satellites. Well, it didn’t launch exactly the way it should have essentially been in a low orbit, so now it needs to go out of orbit. So essentially, when the company returns this satellite to Earth, it burns up. So obviously there were losses and that’s why the stock price is under pressure today.

Yes, Luis de Palma, the person we spoke to at William Blair, said it could have been much worse. There was only one satellite on board, so at least one was lost. I think this is the silver lining to this situation. Well, finally, there’s an interesting story for us.

03:22 brook de palma

45 definitely.

03:23 julie

Yes, certainly. Um, and finally, um, psychedelic stocks, we’re looking at them, they’re getting a boost. President Trump’s latest executive order will facilitate the investigation and access of these psychedelic companies and psychedelic drugs. This is a really interesting move, and this is something that we’ve seen kind of ease with this administration.

03:46 brook de palma

Yes, this is very interesting. This effectively shortens the review process from six to 10 months to just one to two months, and some experts say these drugs could be on the market as early as this summer. This could have a huge impact on the mental health industry, addiction, depression, PTSD, and especially the veteran community. I was looking through my inbox and several people have already weighed in on what this specifically means for veterans and the mental health industry as a whole, many are praising this move, many are saying this is a good move and that we need to travel to other parts of the world to access this critical component before this hits the market. Hmm, I just want to make sure I’m saying it correctly. Well, Igan, I think that’s how you pronounce it. So it’s going to be very interesting to see if this actually comes to market and how exactly it will be issued and covered by insurance and also whether this kind of thing will give you, or rather investors, such a stamp of approval, especially for these companies.

04:52 julie

Yes, certainly. And previously, some of these components could not even be studied due to limitations. Um, and this is also worth mentioning, uh, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, uh, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a proponent of this type of treatment. So, I will continue to follow this as well. Thank you Brooke, I appreciate it.
