Mumbai, September 13 (PTI) The Maharashtra BJP on Saturday held demonstrations in Mumbai and Nasik, protesting video shared by Congress on social media in opposition to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's late mother AI.
The ruling party has argued that the AI-generated videos circulating by the Congressional Bihar forces on X are a shaming for all mothers in the country.
Speaking to the reporter during the protest here, BJP MLC Chitra Wagh said, “This is not just a humiliation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's late mother, but a humiliation to all mothers in the country. It appears that Rahul Gandhi has not been taught about the finals and actions.”
Wag claimed that the Congress appears to have admitted defeat in Bihar even before the polls, and instead spoke about its manifesto and promises to the state, he resorted to a personal attack on the Chief Minister.
She argued that it was “highly condemnable” for the opposition parties to drag Modi's late mother into an artificial intelligence-generated video clip.
A similar protest took place in Nashik, where local BJP MLA Devayani Farande led the agitators.
She said the video reflects Congress' “mentality” and its leadership.
“I don't want the party to lean so low to target the prime minister. This shows that there is no agenda in the assembly and is filing a claim against Prime Minister Modi on a personal level,” Funde argued.
The video generated by Modi's late mother AI was shared by the Bihar Congress unit on X Handle on September 10th. “PM can be seen dreaming of his late mother criticizing him for his politics in Bihar, tied up by polls.”
The Congress has argued that there has not been any rudeness to the Prime Minister or his mother.
