Benghazi – The Pioneer Entrepreneurship Foundation for Development, Digital Investment and Artificial Intelligence held an electronic discussion workshop. It aimed to promote a culture of AI and digitalization among Libyan youth. This is part of our efforts to increase young people’s participation in modern technology and the digital economy.
Abdullah Maatuk, CEO of the Foundation, highlighted the discussions at the workshop. We covered applications of artificial intelligence and digital transformation. The workshop also prepared for an international digital event. This competition aims to achieve a world record. We are aiming to be registered in the Guinness Book of Records. This includes broad participation from both inside and outside Libya.
Several results were presented at the workshop. These include the launch of Libya’s first online digital Quran memorization competition. They also announced that an expanded workshop will be held on April 15, 2026. This will bring together experts and participants from various countries. The aim is to exchange expertise in AI from different fields.
Mr Matuku confirmed the objectives of this initiative. They aim to empower Libyan youth. They also try to acquire future skills. This facilitates participation in the digital economy. Ultimately, we will build an innovative knowledge society.
