The black and white video perfectly complements the vibe of Wednesday, with Gaga dancing dramatically into an unforgettable chorus, “Dancing until I Die.”
The controversy began when Twitter users accused them of using AI animations on their dolls and pointed out that they strangely changed the doll's hands during the chorus. Official credits for the video producer Roots Production Services list the VFX supervisors and the team behind the animation, confirming practical effectiveness and studio work. In particular, line producer Carlos Llergo responded directly to comments about AI Dolls, saying that the moving dolls are “animated in VFX studios.”
This video was filmed at a location on Doll Island, Mexico, and added credibility. Director Tim Burton openly criticizes AI and calls it “the robot that takes away your humanity,” consistent with the practical creative approach taken in the project.
