Khloe Kardashian has expressed her dismay over a bizarre AI video of her with her late father Robert Kardashian.
The reality star made rare statements regarding advances in AI, saying she is “afraid” of artificial intelligence, especially after a fan-made clip featuring her late father.
“I think people probably think it’s sweet,” Chloe commented on the fan-created AI clip on the latest episode of her podcast. Chloe from Wonderland.
“But even the AI video of my dad kissing me on the forehead, I don’t know, kind of freaked me out. I can’t explain it.”
The Khlouds founder further said that he needs to confirm his sister’s content directly from them.
“With advances in AI, you’re going to have to watch a video of your sister, send it to her, and be like, ‘Wait, did she really say this?'” Khloe explained.
And “9 times out of 10,” Khloe revealed, “it’s not them, it’s the AI.”
“It’s so scary,” Chloe added.
Regardless of how well-intentioned fans may be toward AI-generated content, Khloe admitted that her perspective hasn’t changed.
“I know people do it because they think it’s so cool,” she said. “But I’m like, ‘That’s kind of weird.’ I don’t know why that makes me weird.”
Sharing her concerns about the impact of AI on children and the next generation, Chloe added: “My hope for my children is that they continue to have human interaction. I miss the technology of the phone and being like, ‘I can chat to my girlfriend on the phone and know everything.'” But people don’t do that anymore. ”
