Kairos launches AI-driven analytics platform

Kairos Risk Solutions, a Singapore-based specialist insurance solutions consultancy, has introduced the Weather Data Platform, an advanced analytics tool designed to improve weather risk assessment and enhance the use of parametric insurance solutions with localized data-driven weather predictions.

The platform addresses this market gap by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) with traditional weather forecasting techniques to predict weather trends up to a year in advance.

Kairos said the platform evaluates 77 environmental variables to generate probabilistic forecasts and adaptive trigger recommendations, allowing brokers to effectively identify and quantify weather-related exposures.

This initiative aims to support the industry’s growing interest in data transparency and predictive analytics.

Jeffrey Khoo, Chief Executive Officer of Kairos Risk Solutions, commented: “For brokers, timely and reliable insights into weather risk are essential to designing the right parametric solutions. Our new platform delivers these insights directly to brokers, transforming the way they analyze and respond to climate change.”

Casmond Lim, Chief Operating Officer and Project Leader at Kairos Risk Solutions, added: “The system will continually evolve. We are refining our models to enhance spatial accuracy and scenario testing, allowing brokers to make more informed recommendations on resilience planning and risk transfer.”

Access to the platform is also being extended to Kairos’ network of partners and licensed brokers looking to strengthen their climate risk advisory capabilities.
