A dynamic provider of cutting-edge, data-driven cloud solutions is looking for a Junior/Senior Machine Learning Engineer with strong critical thinking skills. Join the Machine Learning AI team to work with clients on projects focused on bringing reliable, data-driven software applications to production. The primary focus of this role includes designing and implementing data pipelines, building models (machine learning or not), and deploying models. The ideal candidate likes to try new things and has the flexibility to go above and beyond the call of duty. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Software Engineering or similar field and 2+ years of data science/data engineering work experience with proficiency in Python, Spark, PySpark, SQL, Java, Go Yes, and should be familiar with MLOps principals and knowledge. Build a training and inference pipeline for your ML project.
Duties:
- Implement and test data engineering and machine learning software.
- Build and test data engineering and machine learning pipelines for data analytics or machine learning solutions.
- Collaborate and share technical knowledge with team members and colleagues.
- Follow all best practices and procedures established by the client or industry.
- Document the designed solution and implemented tools.
- Brainstorm new solutions to improve data and ML software development and deployment.
- Help set up CI (continuous integration) and CD (continuous delivery) tools with your team.
- Monitor data/model metrics and develop ways to improve application development and deployment.
- Maintain day-to-day control and control of your project.
Requirements:
Eligibility –
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, software engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, or related field.
Experience/Skills –
- 2+ years of experience in data science and data engineering.
- Fluent in the following languages: Python, Spark, PySpark, SQL.
- Software development experience (Java, Go, etc.).
- Familiarity with training and building inference pipelines for ML projects.
- Familiarity with basic machine learning theory and model building, tuning, and selection.
- Familiarity with MLOps principals.
- Experience with at least one cloud provider.
- Experience using test automation and tools.
- A basic understanding of the cloud-native ecosystem and a willingness to learn and grow in this environment.
Advantage –
- Contribute to and/or be passionate about open source projects.
- Startup/side project/product experience.
- MSc/PhD in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI.
- AWS certified (or other cloud).
- I would like to learn more about the Cloud Native Computing Foundation technology.
