Josh Brown hopes Apple shareholders will get paid soon if an iPhone manufacturer struggling with artificial intelligence goes through a bewildering AI deal. “If they do that, you get a new all-time high with Apple on the day they announce it,” Brown told CNBC's Halftime Report on Tuesday. “This is everyone who owns Apple stock and thinks it will remain an affiliate for the next 10 years of the AI generation. The CEO of Ritholtz Wealth Management and CNBC Pro commented following a report from information, saying that Apple executives are discussing the possibility of buying startups. iPhone makers stocks rose slightly, following the report, up 0.1%. AAPL 1D Mountain Apple is messing up investors who were waiting for iPhone makers to announce something big with artificial intelligence as their difficult AI deals have been more than a day, failing to impress the streets. It will also benefit from stocks that are slowing down this year. Apple is just one of two epic seven stocks that will remain low in 2025. The stock has dropped more than 9% this year, taking its recent highs off 12% or more. Brown also hopes that the deal with bewildered AI could potentially be founded by CEO Aravind Srinivas as a potential successor to current Apple CEO Tim Cook after running the AI business for many years. “If you really believe that AI will become the most important technological revolution since Power, the Silicon Valley house view, then you want one of the earliest and most talented entrepreneurs in this space,” he added. Certainly, Brown doesn't expect the company to pass the deal. Perplexity AI has emerged as a potential deal in Apple's past, but buying wasn't a company pattern. “I like Apple doing things like this. I don't expect them to do that. They tend not to trade,” Brown said. “But I think the stock will be the highest ever if they do that.” All opinions expressed by CNBC Pro contributors are theirs, and they do not reflect the opinions of CNBC, NBC Universal, its parent company or its affiliates, and may have been previously sown on television, radio, the Internet, or another medium.
