The Department of Computer Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) will be organizing a 3-week Short Term Training Programme (STTP) on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in hybrid mode. Candidates with Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate or PhD degree with Mathematics background are eligible for the course.
A total of 130 seats are available for the course, of which 80 will join the offline class on a first-come, first-served basis (FSFS) and 50 will follow online. The 50-hour short-term training programme will commence from July 1st to 19th.
The short-term training program includes 20 hours of theory classes and 30 hours of practical training. It consists of five modules: Introduction to AI and Python Fundamentals, Applied Data Science with Python, Machine Learning Algorithms, Deep Learning for Computer Vision with Keras and TensorFlow, and Deep Learning for NLP with Keras and TensorFlow.
The courses will be taught by experts from JMI and other reputed central/overseas universities, IITs, NIITs, IIITs and industry experts.
JMI and the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) are also inviting applications from students interested in learning Urdu. This one-year course is open to students studying in either Hindi or English. Admissions are accepted throughout the year and interested applicants can apply through the official website. jmi.ac.in.
