Jack White slams 'embarrassing' MPs in AI video

AI Video & Visuals

Jack White harshly reprimanded a Tennessee state lawmaker after he posted a video of an AI-generated locker on social media.

The video features a fake version of White, who the real White wore when he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year, declaring, “Don't even think about listening to my music, you fascist.” Burchett added a shot of herself in the caption, writing: “That pretty girl from the Addams Family was so ugly and angry.”

The clip continues the false story that White is “banning” Donald Trump supporters from attending his concerts, something White has previously denied.

White referenced Burchett's AI-generated video in a post on his Instagram account.

“Can you believe that a member of Congress of the United States, yes, a member of Congress (from my state), someone who once held a sacred and respected position in our society, would repost an AI-generated video containing false comments that I never said (without any research I might add) and attempt to insult my appearance like a 10-year-old on the playground?” Rocker wrote. “What kind of joke are we living in now?”

“The great state of Tennessee deserves better than Mr. Burchett, but you and your cult are too dug in and too blind to even realize it,” White continued. “With a Bible in one hand and a flag in the other, he tramples on our democracy every day for the sake of one man's ego, using taxpayer money to accept a fake peace prize and tearing down the White House brick by brick. It's shameful.”

White has been harshly critical of Trump and his supporters. He called the president a “fraud” and “loser,” criticized the Oval Office makeover and called Trump's infamous response to Rob Reiner's death “terrible” and “terrible.”
