Iran on Tuesday released an AI-generated video depicting a missile crashing into the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor, a global symbol of freedom and democracy in the United States, in one of the regime’s latest propaganda efforts to influence public perception abroad.
The minute-long video, shared by Iranian state broadcaster IRIB and a Telegram channel affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), ends with the slogan: “One revenge for all.”

The video was also disseminated by Russian state broadcaster RT and appears to be an overt symbolic threat against the United States.

Since the start of the U.S.-Israel war with Iran on February 28, Iranian authorities have stepped up propaganda and disinformation efforts to portray Washington and Jerusalem as responsible for the decades-old regional conflict, while trying to influence left-wing Americans to mobilize domestic opposition to the war.
The new, widely circulated video showcases a striking sequence that depicts America as the world’s enemy, drawing on images from the forced dispossession of Native Americans and the Japanese atomic bombing to the Vietnam War and more recent conflicts in the Middle East to create an overarching narrative of American aggression.
The clip also includes footage that hints at children on Jeffrey Epstein’s private island. This has been a recurring theme in Iranian messages suggesting that US President Donald Trump started the war to distract the public from the Epstein scandal. In the Epstein case, the late financier was convicted of running a sex trafficking ring involving underage girls and reportedly various influential figures.
The second half of the video shows AI-generated figures of Iran’s former supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei and Iran’s late Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani staring into the sky. Khamenei was killed in an Israeli airstrike on February 28, and Soleimani was also killed in a US drone strike in 2020.
The final scene of the video shows an Iranian-colored missile hitting the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor, whose head is replaced with that of the false Biblical god Baal, which houses the Talmud, an important collection of Jewish religious teachings and laws.
This video is the latest example of AI-generated propaganda released since the start of the war with Iran.
Last week, Chinese state television CCTV released another AI-generated video showing the Chinese government’s position on the Strait of Hormuz crisis. The video features a Persian cat fighting in martial arts and an eagle-headed human representing the United States.
Experts say Russia’s dissemination of the Tehran video reflects a broader concerted effort to use visual propaganda to challenge U.S. foreign policy and influence global perceptions amid rising regional tensions.
The latest video was released as the United States and Iran began diplomacy over a possible resolution to the war, but the Iranian government reportedly reacted negatively to the U.S. proposal.
