FCB London’s social-first film brings the use of AI to life in playful, tech-forward spots that dramatize the partnership between human stories and AI wizardry. These spots, called “AI-verts,” show the growth and transformation of real people and real businesses using QuickBooks. These include a variety of companies, including a retro ski wear brand, a video production company, and a bespoke tent installation company, all sharing how new QuickBooks products have helped them thrive.
FCB London worked with 456 Studios and Purple Martin to leverage the latest AI tools to shift time from technical execution to creative development. Combining both in-person and AI production techniques, the team filmed real people and used AI to place them in the environments where QuickBooks has the most impact on business, including ski resorts, race tracks, technology conventions, and even a pirate-themed computer game.
The global launch is supported by an influencer workstream, with FCB London partnering with social teams across FCB’s global network and creators such as Ali Abdal, Timony Armoo, Kelly Hoppen, Nisha Shah and Ben Askin to drive momentum across EMEA.
“Intuit QuickBooks is a great place to start,” said Sarah Tempest, director of marketing at Intuit QuickBooks. “Every day, we hear from small business owners who feel overwhelmed by the number of tools they use to keep their businesses running. Our research shows that, on average, nearly a full workday is lost each week due to time spent switching between tools. For many, the technology that was supposed to help them often ends up adding more work.
“With the new Intuit platform, our goal is simple: bring time and clarity back to people. By bringing together critical tools into one unified platform and combining smart AI with trusted human expertise, we We help owners maintain control while reducing the pressure of day-to-day operations. We’ve been working with small and medium-sized businesses for decades, so we know how hard they work, and we’re excited to work with FCB to spread the word on a campaign that captures the creative and disruptive energy that drives entrepreneurs.”
“Everyone in every industry is talking about AI, but the QuickBooks business platform combines human intelligence with artificial intelligence,” said Ben Perez Usher, creative director at FCB London. We thought, why not create a campaign? ‘AI-Verts’ was born, showcasing real businesses and real human insights, where AI brings their stories to life in an incredibly disruptive way. We made the use of AI a central part of the story, rather than hiding it.” Understand our ideas the same way QuickBooks does for its users. ”
The campaign will launch in late November 2025, with additional content rolling out through December. The TVC and VOD will be broadcast in Australia, Canada, the UK and the US, while social, radio and influencer content will be published in the UK and priority markets in EMEA, including Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, South Africa and the UAE.
