ADI IGNATIUS: And now, all of a sudden, generative AI is vastly improved. You’ve probably heard of ChatGPT, Open AI’s generative AI platform. And maybe you’ve played with it. For example, ask him to write a version of the Gettysburg Address in his HBR style. These small experiences are part of dramatic changes in the world of business. The technology, which is still in its infancy, has already written software, passed professional exams, and can create HBS-style cases in seconds. With superhuman speed, it can pass in place of humans.
AMY BERNSTEIN: Plus, this technology gets better the more you use it. As a leader, staying one step ahead is difficult. Generative AI can threaten business models. Or it may open up new opportunities. What should I do?
