K. Eeresi, former dean of Commerce University at Bengaluru University, said adapting skill-based education to the demands of the technology age is essential to shaping the next generation of entrepreneurs, and that all lecturers must embrace continuous learning methods.
He was working with the National Bank of India on August 13th in Balari to work on the first session of a two-day international conference hosted by Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University of the Ministry of Commerce.
“India is a diverse country and is a confluence of information technology, science and innovation. The education sector has seen the adoption of a variety of models, including the Gurukuru system, curriculum-based learning, internet-based education, machine-based learning, community research models.
Claire Walsh, director of education at the Institute for Analytics in London, has offered keynotes online, saying that leading companies and entrepreneurs around the world are adopting artificial intelligence and machine learning. “AI can sometimes weaken human learning skills, but the reality is that integration into work processes has become an inevitable need across the sector,” she said.
Professor Jayanna, dean of the Department of Business Administration at VSK University, recalled his efforts to establish the Department of Commerce and express his satisfaction with its growth. He hoped the conference would serve as a light to teach students the future.
University Registrar C. Nagaraju observed that machines were evolving to control humans while humans were inventing technology. “If this continues, humans themselves may lose value,” he said, urging the responsible use of technological advances.
Ruling this event, M. Vice-President Muniraju said AI and analysis have become an important area. The university will arrange training workshops on business analysis across the Faculty of Commerce. “Acquiring AI expertise has allowed students to secure employment anywhere in the world,” he added.
Also attended was Professor NM Saali, the controller of the exam. Professor Sadyojatappa, Ministry of Commerce and Program Coordinator. and more than 200 researchers, faculty members, deans of various faculties, educational and non-faculty staff, and research scholars from India and abroad.
