Instagram Edits continues to release new features, and one of its newest features is AI video generation. Artists using Edit as part of their content creation toolset can now create Reels from text prompts, photos, or existing videos.
Although we don’t recommend creating full-fledged AI content, it can be useful, for example, to create interesting backgrounds to enhance pre-recorded videos.
Instagram is currently promoting the app heavily, so artists using the app may get some advantage in terms of reach when using the app and its new features, as is often the case with new features and preferred platforms.
