I’m warned not to talk during movies, but when I watched Project Hail Mary last week, I was so surprised to see Ryan Gosling put two Eppendorf tubes side by side that I said in amazement, “He didn’t balance the centrifuge. That would have destroyed the centrifuge…” while my non-scientist friends buzzed.
Scientific failures aside, this is probably one of the best film adaptations I’ve ever seen.
