Let It Die: Inferno It was officially announced during the State of Play Showcase in September. Not many details about the game have been revealed since then, but last month the title released a demo on PC, with the studio hoping to give players a “taste” of the entire gameplay loop.
Supertrick Games describes the title as a roguelite multiplayer game where players jump into the gates of hell to obtain the Eye of the Grim Reaper. It also encourages exploration by allowing players to obtain weapons that can be used in future runs. The core dungeon crawling experience will primarily revolve around PvE, but PvP will also be featured as a separate game mode.
story of Let It Die: Inferno The film revolves around humanity, which is attacked by a new threat: a giant rift, just after the world recovers from the devastation caused by the destruction of Earth Rage. Players are tasked with exploring this chasm, called the Gates of Hell, and finding out where it leads.
The main driving force behind the player character’s desire to explore the Gates of Hell was a mysterious rumor. “Deep within the hole sleeps the Eye of the Grim Reaper, a lump of SP lithium so large that it claims it can rule the world.” In addition to this, players are also given the mission to “kill anyone who gets in their way.”
What makes player characters different from normal humans is the fact that they are immortal adventurers (called raiders). This means they can die and return as many times as they like while exploring the Gates of Hell. To accomplish this mission, the Raiders meet with the Raider Association and interact with characters described as “a tearful receptionist in mourning clothes, a ghoulish one-armed elderly woman, a mysterious masked veteran, an outcast narrator,” and “a proud and beautiful Raider.”
