An expatriate recently opened up about his visit to several states in India and revealed how the trip affected him. For travelers who have visited 46 countries, the definition of a “successful trip” typically includes seamless logistics and carefully selected comforts. But for social media popular Jeff Josey, The Globe Diggerhis journey to India changed that perspective. In a video she shared on Instagram, Joshi admitted that India is rarely an easy place and is often far from comfortable. But it is precisely these challenges, he argues, that make this destination unforgettable.

He said India has the world’s best street food and world-class beaches. The video showed him visiting “iconic” temples, including the Golden Temple. He also visited Hawa Mahal in Jaipur, Taj Mahal in Agra, India Gate in Mumbai and India Gate in New Delhi.
The caption of the video reads, “After visiting 46 countries…India changed the way I look at travel.” “It’s not the easiest destination. It’s not always comfortable. But that’s why it sticks with you.”

“We backpacked for three months across India and had amazing experiences, from amazing people to breathtaking temples. We only used public transport like night buses and night trains. It wasn’t always comfortable but it was always an adventure. I visited Kerala, Munnar, Hampi, Goa, Varanasi during the festival, visited the Taj Mahal, spent 5 weeks in Rajasthan including Jodhpur, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Pushkar and ended the trip in Delhi, I hope to go again soon,” one user wrote.
