IIIIT Hyderabad launches AI training for women

Hyderabad, February 7, 2026: IIIT Hyderabad’s iHub-Data has announced the launch of a six-month intensive training program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) aimed at upskilling early career women engineers. The program is designed for women graduates who have completed engineering degrees in the past few years and is aimed at participants from Hyderabad and neighboring regions who seek advanced knowledge and research-oriented skills in AI and ML.

The program combines a strong theoretical foundation with practical tutorials and applied learning experiences. Classes are held every Monday at the IIIT Hyderabad campus, providing participants with a collaborative and immersive academic environment. The curriculum spans both classic and modern AI/ML techniques, allowing learners to develop problem-solving skills relevant to industrial and research applications.

Speaking of initiatives; Dr. CK RajuiHub-Data’s director of education programs said the continuing education programs offered by the hub have been highly successful in the past. “This program has been carefully structured to support young women engineers in achieving their career goals by integrating theory and practice, allowing participants to leverage advanced AI and ML techniques to address complex challenges in an accessible and effective manner,” she said. She added that the all-female collective aims to promote gender equality in the technology-driven workplace.

The training program is March 2026 and run for 6 months. Upon successful completion, selected participants will receive benefits. 3-month online internship with iHub-Datagiving you exposure to real-world projects and applied research.
