More AI is coming

The Rethink feature allows you to rethink other people’s short stories. Essentially, by giving the AI custom prompts, you can select specific frames from your original video and create an entirely new video based on them. You also have the option to insert up to two reference photos to ensure that the results closely match the prompt description.

I really don’t understand why Google is doing everything in its power to discourage people from using creative thinking. While the object addition feature is relatively acceptable, the rethink feature prevents creators from using creative thinking to remix the video. They need to use their creative thinking because they just need to give them a prompt and the AI will do all the hard work that they would otherwise do.
YouTube says that, like other remix features, short videos created using these two new AI-powered upgrades will also be linked to the original video. If you don’t want other creators to use your videos in these tools, you can opt out. However, there are major pitfalls to be aware of.
If you opt out of having your Short video used by these new AI tools, your Short video will no longer be available for use in other regular Remix videos. This reduces the number of people who can use your video to create remixes, which can ultimately impact your video’s reach.
YouTube has always been a platform for creative minds. However, with the introduction of more and more AI capabilities, AI is moving away from its basic principles. New AI features now available to me and many others They seem dissatisfied. I honestly believe that once this feature becomes generally available, YouTube Shorts will soon have more AI-generated videos than real human-generated videos. And it definitely wouldn’t be a great sight.
