Ho, ho, I'm going home for the holidays.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has released a new video pretending to be Santa Claus rounding up illegal immigrants, warning them to leave the country voluntarily before they end up on a naughty list.
The holiday-inspired clip, released late Monday, shows a cheerful Father Christmas wearing a red bulletproof ICE vest handcuffing an illegal immigrant on the street.
Santa then processes the illegal aliens at a federal facility before placing them on an ICE Air plane for deportation.
The grim celebratory message comes as Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced early Monday morning that she would be providing special incentives of $3,000 per person for “vacation homes” to encourage undocumented immigrants to voluntarily deport by Dec. 31.
“Avoid Ice Air and Santa's Naughty List!” the agency posted on X along with the Santa ad.
“Use the CBP Home app to go abroad today, earn $3,000, and spend Christmas at home with your loved ones. Holiday incentives are valid through the end of 2025.”
Approximately 1.9 million illegal immigrants have voluntarily been deported since President Trump took office.
The Trump administration began offering $1,000 bonuses and free travel to CBP Home app users in May, claiming it was cheaper than the average $17,000 it costs to arrest, detain and deport an illegal immigrant.
