Tech Mahindra, a global provider of technology consulting and digital solutions, is collaborating with IBM to help organizations sustainably accelerate the use of generative AI around the world.
The collaboration combines Tech Mahindra's suite of AI products, TechM amplifAI0->∞, with IBM's watsonx AI and data platform with AI assistant.
Customers now have access to a range of new generative AI services, frameworks and solution architectures that combine the capabilities of IBM watsonx with Tech Mahindra's AI consulting and engineering skills. This enables the development of AI apps that allow organizations to automate processes using data they can trust. It also provides a foundation for enterprises to create trustworthy AI models, promotes explainability to help manage risk and bias, and enables scalable AI deployments across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
According to Kunal Purohit, Chief Digital Services Officer, Tech Mahindra, the organization is focused on responsible AI practices and adoption of generative AI technologies to rejuvenate enterprises.
“Working with IBM will help accelerate organizations' digital transformation, GenAI adoption and modernization, and ultimately drive business growth for our customers around the world,” Purohit added.
To further strengthen its business capabilities in AI, Tech Mahindra has set up a virtual watsonx Center of Excellence (CoE), which is already operational. This CoE will serve as a joint innovation center, with a dedicated team tasked with maximizing synergies between the two companies and combining their capabilities to create unique products and solutions.
The joint services and solutions developed through this partnership will help enterprises achieve their goals of building machine learning models using open source frameworks, while also expanding and accelerating the impact of generative AI. It will be possible. These AI-driven solutions can help organizations responsibly increase efficiency and productivity.
IBM Ecosystems GM Kate Woolley highlighted the potential of this collaboration, saying that when built on a foundation of explainability, transparency and trust, generative AI can act as a catalyst for innovation. He added that this could open up new market opportunities.
Woolley said: “Working with Tech Mahindra expands the reach of WatsonX and enables even more customers to build AI they can trust, combining our technology and expertise to modernize code, digital labor, and customer ” services. “
This collaboration will transform enterprises with advanced AI-driven products and solutions, including recently added products such as Vision amplifAIer, Ops amplifAIer, Email amplifAIer, Enterprise Knowledge Search products, Evangelize pair programming, and Generative AI Studio. Aligned with Mahindra's ongoing efforts.
It's worth mentioning that the two companies have worked together before. Earlier this year, Tech Mahindra announced the opening of Synergy Lounge at its Singapore campus in collaboration with IBM. The lounge aims to accelerate digital adoption for APAC organizations. We help you operate and leverage next-generation technologies such as AI, intelligent automation, hybrid cloud, 5G, edge computing, and cybersecurity.
Besides Tech Mahindra, IBM watsonx is also being used by other collaborations to accelerate the deployment of generative AI. Also, earlier this year, the GSMA and IBM announced a new partnership to support the use and capabilities of generative AI in the telecommunications industry by launching the GSMA Advance AI training program and the GSMA Foundry Generative AI program.
Additionally, there is a digital version of the program that covers both commercial strategy and the technical fundamentals of generative AI. This initiative uses IBM watsonx to provide hands-on training for architects and developers seeking deep practical knowledge of generative AI.
