At IBC 2025, Krotos is unveiling Sound, a browser-based platform that uses AI-assisted technology to automatically sync professionally recorded audio to video. Designed for sound designers, editors, filmmakers, game teams and content creators, this tool generates sounds in minutes, accelerates the first stage of post-production, allowing users to focus on the most important creative decisions.
Unlike the Generation AI Platform, Video To Sound is fully powered by licensed, professionally recorded sounds from the Krotos Studio Pro library. The system analyzes uploaded video clips, detects scene changes, and generates synchronized sounds. Starting with Ambiences, adding Foley and other elements, users can audition for results in their browsers, download the stereo mix, and import it into any DAW or NLE for detailed editing.
Video To Sound is designed to help video editors and filmmakers create sound-ready edits to impress their clients, get the first pass that sound designers can creatively refine, imagine a prototype for gaming teams, and make content creators and streamers stand out from professional audio. It also offers studios and businesses a scalable way to save time and reduce costs.

The video to the sound is being developed in stages. Krotos opens 100 early access spots for users to test features, and select participants receive a month of free access to help shape the development. After the early access period, Sound To Sound will be available in beta as part of your Krotos Studio Pro and Max subscriptions, with API access available to enterprise customers. Users can register for early access through krotos.studio.
